Digital cameras (or scanned film): Measure device sharpness (MTF), perceptual sharpness (SQF), colour accuracy, noise, dynamic range, tonal response, lens distortion, lens vignetting, and sensor nonuniformity with SFR, Colorcheck, Multicharts, Stepchart, Distortion, and Light Falloff.
Printers: Measure tonal response, Dmax (the deepest printable black tone), colour response, and colour gamut with Print Test.
